Pierbridge today announced the release of a connector that will integrate Falvey Cargo Underwriting web services with Transtream, making it easier for shippers to insure both parcels and freight, while realizing significant savings on insurance premiums.
Backed 100% by Lloyds of London, Falvey has been insuring shipments for businesses of all sizes since 1995. Their web services platform automates the process for insuring parcels and freight shipments as well as claims processing which can be completed online. According to Falvey, they can save shippers as much as 90% on their current insurance rates.
