LSO, the Southern US Regional Parcel Carrier, and Pierbridge, Inc. announced today that they have reached an agreement that will enable LSO to roll out a suite of advanced cloud-based shipping solutions to their customers. These solutions will provide real-time integration with customer order management systems and fully automate rating, shipping, and tracking within warehouse and office environments.

The new LSO solutions, branded "OmniShip", will run on any PC, Mac, or mobile browser with real-time connectivity to local scales, thermal label printers, and data sources. While LSO expects to roll out solutions primarily from the cloud, higher volume shippers will have the option of deploying the same solutions on-premise. Pierbridge's "Transtream" solution will be available for those LSO customers who want to process their shipments from LSO along with all of their other parcel and LTL carriers.
