Bob Malley (Chief Executive Officer) founded Tracer Research Inc. in 1989, where he launched Clippership, a leading carrier management software product. In 1998, Tracer was acquired by Kewill Systems Plc. Bob was appointed President of the eCommerce division, served as a Board Director, and was later promoted to CEO. Bob left Kewill and joined Pierbridge as a Board Member in the fall of 2002 and then as CEO in 2004.
Brian McDonald (Chief Financial Officer) has held numerous executive positions in private equity and private industry for over 25 years. He served in interim executive and integration officer roles for Platinum Equity portfolio companies for 12 years. Previous roles include CEO of Process Software and Vision Government Solutions and CFO of the San Diego Union Tribune and American Commercial Lines.
Mark Newburn (Chief Technology Officer, UK Managing Director) was formerly Technical Director of March Intranet. While there, he was responsible for product development, web systems development, and project management for major corporate accounts such as Guinness, NatWest, Woolwich, Aspect Telecommunications, Allied Bakeries, and Q8 Petroleum. Mark co-founded Pierbridge.
Mark Picarello (Chief Operating Officer) was responsible for Channel Management at Tracer Research, Inc., and instrumental in growing its international VAR network. When Tracer was acquired by Kewill Systems, Plc, Mark was appointed Director of Product Marketing for the eCommerce division, and later served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mark left Kewill and joined Pierbridge in 2004.
Saana Liimatainen (Director of Development, Northern Europe) joined Pierbridge in 2009. Saana leads Pierbridge's research and development initiatives and oversees product development operations in both Finland and Estonia. Saana speaks 5 languages, was awarded a doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Hull and has previously both studied and worked in the UK for 17 years.
Chris Brejak (VP, Business Development) joined Pierbridge in February 2015. Chris is responsible for growing sales by developing strategic partnerships and innovative go-to-market strategies. He has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation management software industry, holding sales and general management positions at various companies including Canada Post and Secap Canada. Prior to joining Pierbridge, Chris spent 15 years at Pitney Bowes, most recently as their VP of North American Sales for their distribution solutions division.
Michael Del Brocco (VP, IT & Product Support) joined Pierbridge in 2004 and is responsible for information systems, SaaS infrastructure, and worldwide technical support. Previously, as IT Director at Kewill Systems, Mike designed, built, and managed Kewill's US data center. Prior to that, Mike led project management teams at Tracer Research Inc. and successfully implemented multi-carrier management systems at Fortune 1000 companies.
Kathleen Marticello (Director, Finance and Administration) joined Pierbridge in 2010. Previously, Kathy spent 12 years as Director of Operations at Agile New England, an enterprise shipping systems integration company. From 1987 to 1998, Kathy worked as a systems engineer at CAM Data Systems where she was responsible for installing and supporting retail point of sale solutions. At Pierbridge, Kathy manages billing, payroll, human resources, and other administrative activities.
Mike Mahan (Director, Client Services) joined Pierbridge in 2015. Mike leads Pierbridge's professional services team and is responsible for customer and partner implementations. Previously with Staples, Inc., Mike has a breadth of senior management experience in both operating and functional roles, including eCommerce, finance, mergers & acquisitions, and technology strategy. Mike received a bachelor's degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Boston College.
